BISS List 6.1.22: Tupac Day + Best of BISS this Week

Happy Festival Season BISS Listers!!

Yep, that is right! The summer music festivals are upon us. I could not be more excited to be heading out to work at the Hog Farm Hideaway festival next week in Laytonville. I will state for the record that it’s going to be exceptionally outstanding! The line-up is stellar with the likes of String Cheese, Pigeons, Galactic, Stringdusters, Keller, Ghost Light, Pimps, & Lots Lots More !! And the Black Oak Ranch, it is a truly special and magical place! Tickets are still available if you want to join us! Congrats to our winner, Amy Jeanne who went above and beyond the call of duty with spreading the word on this event!

As I am prepping this blast to send to you, I am looking at the Best of BISS to include here in this blast, I am seeing just how much good stuff I will have to miss! I am going to need YOU to represent for BISS since I just can’t be in more than one place at a time. Though many of you know I have tried and come pretty close over the years.

Tomorrow night, June 2nd, I am co-hosting on stage with Miss Sunshine Powers of Love on Haight at HealthRIGHT 360 Black Tie & Tie Dye Benefit Happening for Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic w/ Jazz Mafia’s Grateful Brass @ The Commonwealth Club. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch for free on the live stream from HealthRight 360 Facebook page or HealthRight 360’s YourTube channel.

If I were not hosting that event tomorrow, I would be going to Dead Winter Carpenters at The Indy for sure! Congrats to Sharon L on winning these tickets!

In the madness of the weekend’s prep to leave for Hog Farm, I have carved out a little time on Saturday night to see my long-time faves, Monophonics playing at the Chapel here in SF. Though it was a hard choice being up against Phil Lesh at The Frost Amphitheater… BOTH of these shows still have one more chance to #WINTICKETS! #spreadtheword

The Organization: Bay Area Hip Hop Forever is a small non-profit organization based out of Oakland, CA. BAHHF, in conjunction with the city of Oakland, are proud to announce this year that our Son, Brother & Friend, Tupac Shakur will be recognized for his achievements and the legacy that he left behind. This year, Oakland, CA will proclaim his birthday, June 16th, as the Official Tupac Shakur Day in Oakland CA.
