Happy New Year, BISS Listers! Are you ready to make BISS-story in 2025?!

How have you been since we last connected at the end of last year? Did you have a fun NYE celebration wherever you were? It’s pretty rare for us to skip a week of the BISS List, but with the holidays and NYE falling in the middle of the last two weeks, it seemed okay to wait. Hope you didn’t mind—but also, I hope you missed me. Soooo…

Welcome to 2025! Music is our bond, and this community is my heart. I’m so grateful to keep sharing the live music we love with all of you. Honestly, the fate of BISS List was touch and go for a moment there, but after all of the end of year support from all of you, I’m feeling much more positive about the road ahead. There’s still work to do and support to gather, but I’m optimistic we can keep the BISS List thriving together. Your support makes all the difference. Whether it’s sharing this newsletter, joining us on Patreon, making a tax-deductible donation or simply spreading the word, you’re helping keep the BISS List alive and thriving. This week, I’m planning to catch my long-time favorites, Monophonics, opening for Lee Fields at The Fillmore tonight, 1/9. Congrats to BISS winners, Jennifer and Danna, see ya tonight! Then tomorrow night, 1/10, Oakadelic (*WIN*), is at the Boom Boom Room.

After that, I’m gearing up to head out of town for a week and a half. I’m counting on all of you to report back while I’m gone! Anyone interested in adding your thoughts or review to one of the next two weeks of BISS while I am traveling? Reply back to this email and let me know!
