One of the world's finest Afrobeat bands: It's hard to believe that more than twenty years have passed since Antibalas's humble beginning as a neighborhood dance/protest band in the block parties and underground parties in pre-gentrified Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Over the past two decades, they have evolved into what The Guardian called "one of the world's finest Afrobeat bands" while enjoying equal renown for their cross-genre collaborations with legends of popular music. Hip Hop Artist, Producer and Educator Marlon Richardson aka UnLearn The World takes you through a timeline of Hip Hop fashion, it's rich history and its influence on Pop culture, from the 90's shiny suit era to the rise of Streetwear and Sneaker culture. This interactive presentation will also include a live performance. Powered by Hip Hop For Change and the Hip Hop Education Center.

As an MC, Songwriter, Producer and Hip Hop Educator Marlon Richardson aka UnLearn The World is a born and bred product of the late 90's New York City and Golden Era of Hip Hop. His work in both music and education is paving a new pathway for artists to integrate community work into their brands, to teach the art of Hip Hop as a new form of critical thinking to the next generation of aspiring creatives. As an artist, he has shared stages and has collaborated with the likes of Wu Tang, KRS-One, Rakim and countless others. As a Hip Hop Educator, he has lectured on Hip Hop culture and creativity extensively from Juvenile detention centers to Harvard University. In 2022, the San Francisco 49ers Foundation awarded him with the Dr. Henry Edwards Follow Your Bliss Award for Education. He has consulted and facilitated programming for Meta (Facebook) and is the Executive Director for the Oakland based non profit Hip Hop For Change."

For 55 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk, soul music and East Bay Grease."We were a Soul band called The Motowns," recalls Emilio Castillo. "Rocco was the bass player, I was in there, and my brother was the drummer. I met "Doc" Kupka back in 1968 and gave him an audition. He came into the band, and we eventually changed our name to the Tower of Power." The reason for the band name change was that they had a specific goal in mind. "We wanted to get into the Fillmore Auditorium, and with a name like the Motowns, dressed in suits with razor cuts, we knew we'd never get in there. We grew our hair long, started to be hippies, and changed our name. Doc then suggested that we start writing our own songs."

Haunt was originally formed by Trevor William Church as a musical project to be worked on alongside his existing band Beastmaker. Fuzz is a rock band from San Francisco formed in 2011 Hard rock, psychedelic rock, heavy metal, acid rock lineup is Ty Segall on drums, Charles Moothart on guitar, Roland Cosio on bass. Not Official. + Lavender Flu is Chris Gunn (Hunches/Hospitals), Scott Simmons (Helen/Eat Skull) and Ben Spencer (Hunches). The Flu is from Portland, Oregon and started as a home recording project and then morphed into a full band. They have been around for about 10 years and released albums on Meds, Holy Mountain, In the Red Records, and Mind Meld Records. They make sounds characterized as pop music dreaming about and then eating itself. The Flu blends elements of psychedelic rock, pop, noise and experimental music with a sense of chamomile and a slight touch of reverse shrike.

"Rocco was the bass player, I was in there, and my brother was the drummer. I met "Doc" Kupka back in 1968 and gave him an audition. "Rocco was the bass player, I was in there, and my brother was the drummer. I met "Doc" Kupka back in 1968 and gave him an audition. Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996, a guitar child prodigy, approached the world of music at an early age, thanks to his father Vincenzo. He enrolled in a musical high school where he deepened his studies in classical guitar and founded the trio "SNIPS." With this trio, he released the famous version of "The Chicken," which quickly reached millions of views across various social media platforms. In 2019, he began a collaboration with Yamaha Guitars, participating in the NAMM Show in Los Angeles, the "Young Guitar Festival" in Bangkok, and several masterclasses in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Perm). In 2020, Matteo formed his new trio with Stefano India on bass and Giuseppe Bruno on drums, and began dedicating space to his compositional vein by presenting his first original tracks. This marked the beginning of his first intense live activity in Italy and Europe, which developed throughout 2021/2022.
