BISS List 6.15.22: BISS Comedy Night + Tupac Day + Best of BISS this Week

Happy Recovery Day BISS Listers!

That goes out to all of you who just attended the magical Hog Farm Hideaway and then played through for two nights of Dead & Co! What a run!

Thank you to the entire Hog Farm family who made this past weekend so special. It was wonderful to work and play with you all. I am honored to be a part of the crew at the Hog Farm! Thank you to the artists who kept us dancing all day and night! And most importantly, THANK YOU to the best crew I have ever had the privilege to work with: Court, Skye, Jarret, Lisa, Juliana, Greg, Caleb, Corey, Mya, Dolores, Rob, Nancy, Cat, LC, Dubay, Skate, & Danielle. You all really killed it!

If you are looking for a fun campout this weekend, Camp Navarro presents a summer kickoff campout not to be missed. Camp Redwoods (6/17-6/19) features KBong & Johnny Cosmic, The Hip Abduction, Fog City Holdouts (new project with Lebo, Nat Keefe and Bo Carper) and more.

Ben Kolina has many years of experience getting laughs from strangers starting at the Right Field Bleachers visiting several home games of the Oakland A’s. Ben has been featured on Hulu’s “Quick Laffs,” a writer for humor ebaumsworld, and has performed at Savage Henry Comedy Festival, Santa Cruz Fringe Festival, SF Sketchfest, the SF Improv Festival, and the 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis.

The Celebration: Tupac Shakur Day will be an all day, family friendly event featuring poetry readings, inspirational speakers, and live performances celebrating the amazing life of Tupac Shakur. Join us as we recognize his outstanding work as an Artist, Actor, Activist, Poet & Songwriter with music, food, inspiration, motivation, and laughter.

The Organization: Bay Area Hip Hop Forever is a small non-profit organization based out of Oakland, CA. BAHHF, in conjunction with the city of Oakland, are proud to announce this year that our Son, Brother & Friend, Tupac Shakur will be recognized for his achievements and the legacy that he left behind. This year, Oakland, CA will proclaim his birthday, June 16th, as the Official Tupac Shakur Day in Oakland CA.
