Forrest Day is a both a man and a band. ‘Right On Time’ is his new album. The Man: Forrest Day was born outside of San Francisco in 1980. Having grown up in a household that embraced music, he took to it at a young age and by 12 was already demonstrating proficiency with the saxophone. By 15, Forrest had begun playing in a band with friends from school. They earned a strong following and were known for their intense live shows. These early performances proved revelatory, as Day discovered the power of live music, and the release it gave both him and the audience.
