Red Rabbit is an Alameda-based trio featuring three of the Bay Area’s premier musicians: Dann Zinn on saxophone, flute, and electronics; John Wiitala on bass; and Michael Mitchell on drums and synth. This very unique trio covers an incredibly wide range of music, from the Great American Songbook, to ‘new standards’ like Aha’s Take on Me, the Jackson 5’s I Want You Back, plus originals. All this with a sound that can only be described as Red Rabbit!
