“See What Love Can Do” is a Bay Area musical project founded by guitarist Jay Wilcox that is dedicated specifically to celebrating the late-era Jerry Garcia Band (JGB) repertoire from 1985 to 1995.The group takes its name from the soulful song “See What Love Can Do”–originally written by Jerry Lynn Williams and recorded by Eric Clapton–which the Jerry Garcia Band famously covered only six times live. A notable 1991 rendition of the song was officially released on the archival album Electric on the Eel.
