Let’s party like it’s Halloween! // Nekromantix – the band that blends punk rock & rockabilly w a horror themed twist! The Nekromantix is a Danish psychobilly band founded in Copenhagen in 1989. Their lyrics are generally structured around monster and horror themes. One of the wilder bands operating in the psychobilly genre who harness the imagery of horror films and ghoulish monsters for their metal-infused hard-rocking psychobilly. A central icon of the band’s image is founder and frontman Kim Nekroman’s “coffinbass”, a custom-built double bass with a body in the shape of a coffin and a headstock the shape of a cross. Nekroman has been the sole constant member of the band. The current lineup consists of guitarist Francisco Mesa and drummer Mike Mata. + Forrmed in Southern California 2001, Rezurex mix equal parts ’50s rockabilly, punk rock and Catholic mysticism to create one of the most exciting and original bands on the scene!
