STARCHILDJR & GROOVEALLEGIANCE FUNK COLLECTIVE Starchildjr is a guitarist, vocalist, and performer who carries the spirit of funk into the next generation. As part of the Parliament Funkadelic family, he brings a personal connection to the music’s legacy and a sound shaped by his own voice, guitar, and commanding stage presence. With his band Grooveallegiance, Starchildjr turns that spirit into a live experience built on deep grooves, audience connection, and the freedom to move. His mission is to keep funk alive, growing, and reaching new listeners while honoring the music and people who made it possible. A little bit of Funk, and a little bit of Funkadelic.
