By the time you read this, I will be on-site at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, setting up for the rest of you to arrive! I am looking forward to getting back to the Hog Farm after so many years away. It’s such a special and magical place. Add in a line-up that includes The String Cheese Incident, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Galactic, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keller Williams, Ghost Light, Pimps Of Joytime, & Lots Lots More and you know this weekend will be epic!

August 12th – 14th @ Lake Concow Campground

For the Funk of It Music Festival is 3 days and 3 nights filled with good people, good times, and the FUNKiest rhythms happening around the globe today! The great thing about funk music, especially live funk, is it brings together all types of people, young and old, hippie and hipster, singles and families–just for the joy of good music. This is the 7th and funkiest year yet with a lineup that includes: Orgone, Lyrics Born, Sal’s Greenhouse, Jazz Mafia’s Grateful Brass, Jenes N The Juice, Hornmageddon, & More!!

This year Northern California’s only all-funk music fest is located at Lake Concow Campground, nestled in the Sierra Foothills, 36 miles east of Chico. When you are not shaking your thing on the dance floor you can gaze out over beautiful Lake Concow and roam the grounds enjoying nature and all it has to offer.
