Happy Random Acts of Kindness Week BISS Listers!

This week is all about showing appreciation for those around us. We should take a step back and recognize the people in our lives who have gone out of their way to make us feel loved and supported. Whether it’s a kind gesture, a gift, or simply a smile, making sure we show our appreciation is an important part of the human experience.

In the spirit of brightening the world for all of you, I am here to tell you about the good music we have seen, we are about to see, and what we don’t wanna miss in the coming weeks.

It was amazing to witness such a great turnout at the Independent this past Saturday for the tremendous combination of Orgone and Object Heavy. Everyone in the packed house could feel the high-energy and intensity throughout the entire night. I was lucky enough to be perched up in a great spot to get the most amazing videos so you can see for yourself exactly what I am talking about. Check it out here!

This week is about to kick off with a bang for me on Thursday night. I’ll be seeing one of my long-time favorite bands, The Pimps of Joytime, at the GAMH (*WIN*). Friday night, we are splitting up the crew between SF for DangerAte at Amado’s (*WIN*) and the East Bay for Will Magid’s Balkan Bump at Cornerstone. Saturday night, I will be celebrating with Lantz Lazwell at his birthday extravaganza at the Boom Boom Room (*WIN*)!

DangerAte hosts as the house band for this incredible night of MCs, musicians, & DJs. The lineup for the night features the vocal stylings of Lil Flower Nasti & Jayme Brown + special guests for a Cypher Finalé featuring members of Felonious including Soulati, D Wolf & KP. IYKYK, it’s something like a Tuesday Night from back in the day! Ask Miss BISS. One Love Hip Hop Don’t Stop. It Don’t Ever Stop! Stay to the end, you don’t know who might show to bless this finalé! This will be an amazing evening of entertainment.

Lantz Lazwell’s long anticipated second album, Counterclockwise, featuring legendary artists, George Clinton, Tracy Clinton, Stephen Perkins, Norwood Fisher, & Eric McFadden is coming soon to all platforms near you.
