And then #MondayNight, I made it over to Berkeley for the late set of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe at Cornerstone. I can’t believe I hadn’t been to this venue before. I dig it. I was up front for a while and then upstairs taking pics and videos. They funked it up! You might ask yourself… what does Pamela know about funk? Well Karl D said it loud and clear, “Pam Knows”. As I mentioned last week, I have been pulling extra long hours to prep & advance to work at Golden Road Gathering + Backcountry Festival + Hog Farm Hideaway. #ThisWeekend starts early with Bicycle Day celebrations today, including tonight at the Midway with The Floozies & Dirtwire. Though, I know that some of you are still probably going from the three-night run of Phish at The Greek. (Perfect state for Bicycle Day).

And we certainly would not be San Francisco if we didn’t have LOTS of 420 events around the Bay tomorrow. There will be a party at Hippie Hill as always. And Moonalice is doing their annual 420 show at the Chapel (*WIN*). And The Seshen is playing at The Indy (*WIN*).

On Friday, we have A DangerAte Funktion at Amado’s (*WIN*). This is not just any old show. This is an EVENT, complete with JazSFunk from DangerAte + vocal stylings of Lil Flower Nasti, Michael Carney & Jayme Brown, & N’Gala McCoy + MCs SubveRse & Gennessee (Noble House) + DJ Renior, The Vinyl Archaeologist spinning throughout the night. The night ends with a Cypher Finale reminiscent of the good old Tuesday nights at Last Day Saloon. If you don’t know, now, you do.

On Saturday, don’t miss Hot Buttered Rum + Poor Man’s Whiskey (*WIN*) at The Indy. Such a great doubleheader! Then Collectivity at BBR is the late-night spot to be (*WIN*).
