A Quick Heads Up: If you haven’t already figured it out, I’ll be away next week for Golden Road Gathering and likely in re-entry mode the week after. But fear not! My dear friend & Social Media Maven, Ms. Jenni will be getting BISS out to you in my absence. And everyone’s friend Phillip will be taking care of the contests and calendar. Be nice to them while I’m gone! Until then, let the rhythm carry you, immerse yourself in uncharted melodies, and sense the music blending in flawless harmony. Looking forward to catching up on all the Golden Road Gathering fun with you in a few weeks.

LISTEN TO THIS
Listen to “C’est Si Bon” by Say She She, from the album Silver (Released 2023)
Say She She is a female-fronted force serving up a potent blend of disco and 70s funk, seasoned with a dash of modern flair. Led by the powerhouse vocals of Piya Malik, Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, and Nya Gazelle Brown, all classically trained singers, the group delivers a sound, self-described as “discodelic soul.”
“C’est Si Bon” is a vibrant dance anthem that throws a disco party across continents and eras, taking you from a Parisian street fair to a glamorous 90s LA mall, all dipped in the cool of 70s New York and the glitter of London nightlife. We spoke with vocalist Piya Malik and she told us that the song is “our discodelic love letter to the global dance floor. Seize the day, let’s work hard and play hard…and make our time count!”
You can catch Say She She live at BottleRock festival in Napa on 5/24th, The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on 5/25, and HopMonk Tavern Novato on 5/27.
