BISS List 10.22.26 Spotlight on Pigeons Playing Ping Pong + The Best of BISS This Week and More

Happy Thursday, BISS Listers!

We are officially in the home stretch of October, and the musical cauldron is bubbling over. If you thought last week was packed, just wait until you see the treats waiting for us over the next couple of weeks. No tricks, just pure Bay Area groove to keep your spirits high.

Last Week in Review: Friday kicked off with moe. at The Regency with killer sets, and a fantastic crew to celebrate Angela’s birthday! Saturday brought Tom Hamilton to Cafe du Nord. That man’s guitar playing just completely blows me away every single time, and the band was locked in. Love to see my long-time friend Tay shredding that bass! Eric Silverman set the vibe early with some tasty psychedelic soul. Then Tuesday, I caught night one of The Devil Makes Three with Two Runner opening at The Chapel. Packed house, great energy, and the crowd was loving it. I captured a few moments along the way, so head over to the BISS List YouTube channel to check out the videos!

SPOTLIGHT ON PPPP

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong

Nov 1st @ The UC Theatre

To attend a Pigeons Playing Ping Pong concert means to step into infectious funk and the unmatched energy of fans. For Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, music is a living flame—one demanding relentless tending, fresh kindling, and the collective breath of community to sustain it. Driven by an infectious live energy and a relentless touring schedule spanning nearly two decades, few bands command a stage, or a crowd, quite like this. A force best experienced in the wild. Refreshingly dynamic, irresistibly danceable, and forever fueled by their road-tested chemistry, they continue to ignite crowds and push their sonic boundaries from coast to coast. Joined by Dizgo, a genre-bending band blending jamtronica with funk, soul, and psychedelic rock.
